What should you do for GOD to add your name in the BOOK OF LIFE and how to prevent your name from getting removed.
Let us first understand, what is Book of Life. It is the book in which God records, or will record, the names of every person who is destined for Heaven and the world to come.
It is very important for a Christian to have his or her name to be present in the Book of LIFE.
If your name is not there in the Book of Life, then you will go straight to Hell.
Revelation 20:15.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
If your name is present in the book of life, then you will go to judgement and according to your deeds you will be rewarded.
The reward is the mansion that Jesus is preparing for you in heaven.
John 14 : 1, 2, 3.
Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
So how can I make sure that GOD includes my name in the Book of Life.
Believe in Jesus and Follow him.
John 5 : 24.
Whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life.
Bible verse, John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
***1. Accept Jesus Christ as your savior.***
You and your family will be saved.
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Say, "Father in Heaven, I believe that Jesus died for my sins." And God will impart eternal life to your spirit.
So what does one mean when they say that one has to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior in order to be saved? For many, it simply means that one must, from the heart, accept Jesus as the Bible teaches us that he is, the Son of God and the only Savior for the world.
***2. Turn people to righteousness.***
Daniel 12:3.
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Once you hear the word and accept Jesus, it becomes our responsibility to share the good news to others and bring peace in their life.
Show others the way of everlasting life.
We have to get our names included In the book of life, and help others to get their name included.
***3. Repent and born again.***
True Christian repentance involves a heartfelt conviction of sin, a contrition over the offense to God, a turning away from the sinful way of life, and a turning towards a God-honoring way of life.
Genuine repentance is not simply a “rethinking” of one’s relationship to sin and God. Repentance must be first rooted in the realization of how sinful an action, emotion, belief, or way of life is. Then, one must be grieved by how offensive and grieving sin is to God, not simply afraid of God’s retribution for your sin. In other words, repentance must be rooted in a high value on God, not a high value on oneself. Only then, you can turn away from sin and move towards holi ness, and this trust can be called repentance. The failure to repent is thus a form of idolatry. Refusal to repent is to elevate our own souls above God’s glory, but when one does repent, it leads to the forgiveness of sin, the removal of divine discipline, and the restoration of one’s experiential communion with God.
***4. Baptism.***
The Word of God places on the church two perpetual ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first, baptism, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individual’s life and is a testimony to all that the person now belongs to Jesus. It is identification with Jesus and is affected in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
***5. Lead a Holy Life.***
Holiness is a decision of your will, it is what you choose to do with your life. It is your conduct, living according to God's commandments. In short, holiness is doing those things that please Him. It's what you do with your time and your actions.
If we as a Christian can follow these five things, then we can make sure that our name is listed in the book of life.

When the people of Israel sinned god was angry and Moses prayed and pleaded for mercy.
Exodus 32 : 32,33
But now, please forgive their sin but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.
The Lord replied to Moses, Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book.
If you sin, then GOD will remove your name from the book of life, and then you will go straight to Hell.
Let us wish and pray that it does not happen in our life's.
We should live a life which is pleasing to God, so that our names are listed in the book of life, and we go to heaven.
We need to understand the second coming of Jesus Christ is near, if your name is there in the book of life, then you would be able to meet Jesus.
I don't want to sin and miss the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ.
